​One of the most versatile and charismatic violinists on the current South American scene, Hugo Arias is an exceptionally dedicated and gifted performer whose passionate artistry has been heard and embraced around South America.

Hugo Arias performs as concertmaster of the the Santiago Philharmonic and the Teatro Municipal de Santiago.
​
As a teacher of many Violin students throughout South America, he holds positions of professor in many of the concervatories and universities thoughtout Santiago, Chile.
​
Maestro Arias performs as soloist regularly throughout South America​n orchestras. Additionally he often performs with Lima, Bogota and Santiago area Youth Symphonies while on a tours through Peru, Colombia and Chile.
Hugo Arias studied violin in Germany with Valery Klimov.
